A new proposal for the World’s Fair Park Amphitheater in Knoxville, Tennessee. This project worked to optimize and reinvision the current structure designed by McCarty Holsaple McCarty Architects in 1982. Already a captivating centerpiece in the city’s downtown life, this project saught to use parametric design principles and an advanced, lightweight combination of tensile and space truss structures to modernize and rejuvenate the space.
